Hot Keypad

When enabled, this function (Function 93) allows users to dial without having to first lift the handset or press the speaker key to obtain intercom dialtone. Users can dial any extension number or system resource number and automatically activate the speakerphone. If this feature is disabled, the user must first lift the handset, press the speaker key or press either a trunk or intercom key before being able to use the keypad.

Benefits This feature improves productivity and simplifies call processing by eliminating keystrokes when placing calls.
