Call Parking

This feature utilises directory numbers (with or without a physical connection) in combination with the "no-ring transfer" feature. Calls can be parked at an extension directory number and picked-up using the "directed call pickup" feature.

Programming a pair of feature keys for No-ring Transfer (function 73) and for Directed Call Pickup (function 53) and a series of feature keys for "parking positions" (using virtual numbers) allows the user to hold calls by parking them and retrieve the calls in any order they want to.

Benefits Using Call Parking is an efficient method for holding several simultaneous calls at a busy extension. The advantage over using Call Park instead of the "normal" Hold feature is that Call Parking allows total flexibility in the order in which parked calls are handled (unlike "Hold" which uses first-in first-out queuing).
