Private-To Programming an exchange line as "private to" an
extension gives that extension exclusive access to that line. All ringing-position
programming for the line is over-ridden and the line will ring only at the nominated
extension. Private-trunk calls can be transferred to other extensions or placed on system
hold and retrieved by other extensions.
