Hytel KSUs have an RS232 port for connection of third-party
SMDR recording devices to the system. A real-time call-record is produced for each CO call
processed by the system. The call-records are sent to serial-port 2 (the bottom socket) on
the CCB in ASCII format.
At default, call records are produced at the conclusion of the call.
A call is logged only if the call-duration is longer than the time set by the Call
Duration Start Time parameter. The Enable ICLID SMDR option is used to generate a call
record whenever an incoming call containing ICLID information is answered by a voicemail
port, the call-record now being generated when the call is answered by the voicemail port.
This allows the ICLID information to be used by the voicemail for call-routing purposes.
A system buffer holds 200 records.
