Drop Timeout

Drop timeout automatically disconnects an outside call after a specified time. If "warning tone" is enabled, the callers hear a tone 10 seconds before the call is terminated. This feature is programmed on an extension-by-extension basis.

Benefits Used to set maximum outgoing exchange call-time for specified extensions. Keysets in staff common-rooms (lunchroom / locker room etc), foyers, waiting rooms etc are candidates for this feature (particularly where "unrestricted" outgoing access is available for STD/IDD calls, calls to mobile telephones, calls to premium-rate services etc).
