Virtual numbers

Thirty virtual numbers (830 - 859) are provided in the system numbering plan. Any "spare" extension number in the range 200 - 399 can also be used as a virtual number.

The main use of virtual numbers is for parking calls using no-ring transfer.

Another common use is in a Manager/Secretary situation where the Manager and the Secretary have a virtual number programmed on a feature key on each of their keysets with "virtual ringing" turned on. These keys can then be used for direct communications between the two people.
