| Feature Keys A keyset has either nine or twenty 20 programmable
feature keys with each key having an associated dual-colour (red/green) LED that is used
to indicate the status of the programmed
feature.
The keys can be either uniformly-programmed for
every extension of each extension user can determine the key-layout that best suits the
way they want to work. Keys can be easily changed by using soft-key F2 and (on a display
keyset) simply following the prompts on the LCD panel. Consult the user's guide for
instructions on programming a non-display keyset's feature keys.
All nine keys on a 9-key keyset are dual-level,
as are the ten keys in the two right-hand columns on a 20-key display keyset. The upper
level can be used only to store an abbreviated number. Use soft-key F1 to initiate both
the programming and selection of the upper-level of a feature key. |
