Fixed-function keys
 

There are (nominally) six fixed-function keys on a keyset:

 

Hold
Speaker
XFR/CONF
Redial (*)
Clear
Function

(*) The default function of the Redial key is Last Number Redial and it retains this function in most installations. However, it may be re-programmed (by using Function + # + 3) to any other redial (or other) system function.
The purpose of the other fixed-function keys is; Hold To hold the current call.
Speaker Toggles between hands-free speakerphone operation and a handset-call.
XFR/CONF Used to initiate a call-transfer or to add a conferee to a conference.
Clear Clears the current function and returns the keyset to normal status.
Function Used to initial a system function code.
