Hytel Digital Keysets
Proprietary Hytel digital 9-key & 20-key display keysets
features a large LCD panel. Three interactive soft keys directly below
the LCD
panel relate to prompts on the bottom line of the display and are used to guide
the user through system functions.
They also provide easy access to system
features such as directory dialling. A 9-key non-display keyset is also
available.
Keysets can be used for advanced
facilities such as Alert-Calling and Off-hook-Voice-Announce. An inbuilt headset
jack on the
20-key model makes it the ideal choice for receptionists, inbound and outbound call-center
operators and users who need
private hands-free operation. Keysets may be either
placed on a desk or wall-mounted.
A DSS (Direct Station Select) unit can be used as
an adjunct with any extension's keyset to give one-touch operation to call
other
extensions, select a desired exchange line, call a stored abbreviated number or
select a system resource such as paging.
It is an ideal "extra" for the system
attendant as they get immediate light indication of the status of every
extension. Up to 6
DSS
units can be connected to a Hytel 616-series system.
